Adoptions

Although not very often, Encina Veterinary Hospital does have a few adoptions! We will continue to update this page with current adoptable pets we have available through our hospital.
If you’re interested in adopting any of the pets below, please contact Christina (925-937-5000 or acsutu@encinavet.com) for more information.

UP FOR ADOPTION: MOXIE

Meet Moxie! She is a ~5 month old female dilute calico kitten with long hair who is up for adoption. She was brought in as a stray with an upper respiratory infection, but has completely recovered and is as healthy as ever. Dr. Kerry Thode decided she would foster Moxie until her forever home comes along, rather than giving her to an over crowded shelter where her future would be dim. Moxie is very petite for her age and only weighs about 2 1/2 pounds. She has tested negative for FeLV and FIV, has been de-wormed, and received flea medications. She will receive her rabies vaccine and one FVRCP vaccine prior to adoption. She will need a second FVRCP vaccine in 3 weeks after her first vaccine and will need to be spayed when she is bigger. She is a girl filled with spunk and gets along well with other cats. Contact Dr. Kerry Thode at drthode@encinavet.com for more details or to set up a time to meet this adorable girl!
